Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the emozi application ("the App"), you — or the parent/guardian acting on behalf of a minor — agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. These Terms apply to all users of the App, including parents, guardians, and children using the App under supervision.
Description of Service
emozi is an interactive educational app for children ages 5–10 that teaches empathy, social skills, and emotional intelligence through story-based scenarios.
- 6 free scenarios included with download — no purchase needed.
- 60 Premium Adventures available as a one-time optional in-app purchase.
- iOS exclusive: available only on iPhone & iPad via the Apple App Store. No Android version exists.
- No internet connection, account, or personal data required to play.
User Eligibility
emozi is intended for children aged 5–10 under the supervision of a parent or guardian. By using the App, you confirm that:
- You are a parent or legal guardian granting permission for a child to use this App, or
- You are an adult using the App yourself for educational purposes.
- You understand children should not manage in-app purchases unsupervised.
In-App Purchases
- All purchases are processed securely by Apple via the App Store.
- Prices may vary by region based on Apple's pricing tiers.
- Purchases are tied to your Apple ID and can be restored on any device.
Parents: we strongly recommend enabling purchase restrictions (Screen Time → Content & Privacy) on your child's device to prevent unauthorised purchases.

Refund policy
All refunds are handled directly by Apple under Apple's standard refund policy. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot process refunds ourselves.
Intellectual Property
All content in the emozi App — story scenarios, illustrations, characters, text, audio, UI design, branding, and code — is the exclusive property of Boxred Studio and is protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial educational purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of the App without prior written consent from Boxred Studio.
Prohibited Uses
When using emozi, you agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App.
- Use the App for commercial purposes or public display without written permission.
- Attempt unauthorised access to any portion of the App or its related systems.
- Use the App in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
- Reproduce or distribute App content without express written consent.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The emozi App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boxred Studio, its directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — resulting from:
- Your use of or inability to use the App.
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the App.
- Any bugs, viruses, or similar harmful code transmitted via the App.
Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Boxred Studio operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that jurisdiction.
